BARLEY AND NEW MOON REPORT
Nehemia Gordon from Jerusalem, Israel compiled the
following Barley Report and New Moon Report for the month of March 2011 and the
beginning of the Thirteenth Month on the Biblical Calendar.
No Aviv Barley, New Moon of Thirteenth Month Sighted
“On March 6, 2011 the barley we examined in the Judean Desert and Jordan
Valley was nowhere near Aviv. These are locations the barley is known from
previous years to ripen earliest. The barley was mostly in the vegetative state
but we also found large amounts of barley that had just flowered
(cotton-stage). This is consistent with our findings on Friday March 4, 2011 in
the northern Negev. The lack of Aviv barley means the new moon on April 4, 2011
will be the beginning of the Hebrew year and Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened
Bread) will begin at sunset on April 18, 2011.
The
new moon of the Thirteenth Biblical Month was sighted on March 6, 2011. It was
first sighted from Kefar Eldad by Bruce Brill at 6:03pm and then from Jerusalem
at 6:11pm by David Cachicas followed shortly thereafter by Willie Ondricek,
Keith Johnson, Nehemia Gordon, Devorah Gordon, Daniella Cachicas, Yoel Halevi,
Pat Skewes, and Miri Burgin.

The next new moon is expected to be visible from Jerusalem, Israel near sunset on April 4, 2011 when the moon will be 1.01% illuminated and 9.69o above the horizon at five minutes past sunset.
ZEDEK AND CATAB
IN CONJUNCTION
The planets Jupiter (Zedek) and Mercury (Catab) will come into conjunction with each other in the constellation Pisces on March 16, 2011.
Below is a simulation of the conjunction from Astronomy.com as seen from the United States at 30 minutes after sunset.

Zedek represents Yahweh and/or Yahshuah, and Catab represents Gabriel the messenger angle. The constellation Pisces represents the nation of Israel with the two fishes representing both houses of Israel. The fish that is horizontal with the celestial equator represents the House of Judah. A large portion and perhaps most of Judah now reside in the nation or country of modern day Israel. Below the constellation Pisces, is the constellation Cetus (the beast from the sea) who is the archenemy of Israel. In ancient times this beast represented Egypt, Syria Babylon, and Persia. In modern times it represents nations in the same geographical area as the fore mentioned, which are Iran, Iraq, Syria, and most likely Egypt again as it is now under new leadership not friendly to Israel.
This particular conjunction is the first in a series of seven planetary conjunctions to take place in Pisces between mid-March 2011 and late May 2011. Five of the conjunctions occur in May. This is an extraordinary amount of activity. And this is of particular interest, which will become apparent when I show you the celestial activity that occurred in Pisces at the beginning of World War II. At that time, the beast was Hitler and the Nazis. Also at that time there were eight conjunctions in Pisces which occurred over a two year period in the months of April and May in 1939 and between the months of January and May in 1940.

During those time periods there were eight planetary conjunctions in the constellation Pisces. They were the Jupiter/Venus conjunction on April 22, 1939; the Mercury/Saturn conjunction on May 11, 1939; the Venus/Saturn conjunction on May 17, 1939; the Jupiter/Mars conjunction on January 7, 1940; the Mars/Saturn conjunction on February 12, 1940; the Jupiter/ Venus conjunction of February 21, 1940; the Venus/Saturn conjunction of March 8, 1940; and the Jupiter/Mercury conjunction of May 5, 1940.
Mercury (Catab), representing Gabriel the messenger, did a retrograde loop through Pisces from early March to mid-May. Chart 552 shows the path of Mercury from March 3 to May 10, 1939. Some of Judah did escape the persecution to come.

The planet Adom (Mars), which represents Michael the warrior angel, did a retrograde loop in Pisces from early August 1941 to January 12, 1942 as shown in green in the chart below. The United States entered the war after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. I think it was on December 8, 1941 that we were in a declared war with Germany. The population of the United States and England consisted in large part of the other Ten Tribes of Israel and many from Judah as well. Michael the warrior angel was there to guide the troops of Israel who overcame and destroyed the beast of that time in April of 1945. Japan was defeated a little less than four months after.
There were also some other celestial events that occurred in World War II that are of interest. There was the massing of Jupiter, Mars and Saturn in Pisces in January of 1940, though it was not a tight triangular massing. The massing of those three planets portrays war, either physical or spiritual. There was also a triple conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in the constellation Aries, which took place on August 15, 1940; October 14, 1940; and February 19, 1941. According to the Jewish sages a triple conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn always betokens a crises in the affairs of Israel (see E.W. Bullinger’s The Witness of the Stars, pp. 96,97 and Richard Hinkley Allen’s Star Names: Their Lore and Meaning, p341).
It appears that there is a good chance that trouble is brewing for Israel. This may be the beginning of the “Great War” that is to take place preceding the Great Tribulation, where Israel will be triumphant. The Great Tribulation could take place any number of years after this war. The celestial events warrant our attention. We will see what happens. Be prepared in any event.
